For over 50 years, Nahacky’s Aquarium has been the premier fish store on Florida’s Space Coast serving Brevard, Orange, and Indian River counties. Nahacky’s Aquarium began in 1961 as a locally-operated family business in a garage and later moved to its modern day location on US1. For the past 25 years, the MacDonald family (Dave, Lisa, and daughter Katie Velie) have continued the tradition of Nahacky’s Aquarium for bringing in exotic aquatics from all over the world. In fact, worldwide fish shipments arrive to the shop on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. The staff also makes regular trips to Miami in order to hand pick additional unique varieties of fish and corals to supplement their fantastic inventory. This place also offers a large assortment of pond plants, lilies, filters, supplies, koi, and other pond department selections.

The friendly, knowledgeable staff at Nahacky’s Aquarium are experts when it comes to fish and aquariums and are ready to assist you with questions or concerns about planning, stocking, and maintaining them.

Google 360 Photospheres

Google Photospheres

360-degree imagery has been around for a while now, but recently Google has made it a little easier to create a 360-degree panoramic image and upload it to Google Maps for the world to view. If you have a Nexus 7 you can create photospheres using the camera app. For professional photographers who rather use traditional gear such as a DSLR with a fisheye or ultra-wide angle lens and a panoramic head on your tripod.

If you have 360-degree panoramic images in your collection and would like to convert them into photospheres that are ready to be uploaded to Google follow this link to add the extra metadata needed.

In 1976, Bob Steele Chevrolet opened it's doors to the public. The Chevrolet dealership is family owned by the Steele family. This year it became the first dealership in the county to add a 360-degree interactive virtual tour to their Google plus listing. Having this virtual tour, the dealership invites you to take a virtual stroll through the showroom and work your way around to the service department.

Images in Tile

Have you been out to the Kennedy Space Center's Visitor's Center recently? Did you notice the large tile murals of the planets of Earth, Jupiter, Mars, and Saturn? Images in Tile USA, a Joplin Missouri based company, was hired to create the 1,000 sq ft murals for visitors of the complex to marvel at and enjoy. These planet murals are the largest of their kind in the world. Jason Perrone, of Perrone Photography, had the opportunity to photograph each mural. The photographs are high quality and really capture the detail and design of each planet. NASA's Kennedy Space Center was home to the Space Shuttle and is still the largest space organization in the world. The planet murals, are a beautiful and insightful look into our solar system and because they are made from tile, will last for many years to come. Maternity Photography

There is nothing in this world more precious and beautiful than a mother carrying child. Maternity photography sessions allow the mother-to-be to reflect back on her pregnancy, years after she holds her baby for the first time. Maternity sessions are an intimate time where the photographer should capture all of the natural beauty of a pregnant mother, while at the same time being very discrete. Silhouettes are a an ideal way to show off the expectant mother's curves and also leaves some mystery to her figure. It is also important to talk to the mother-to-be in a soft voice to keep her calm and relaxed for her photography session. Some great tips for hosting maternity sessions are to have a large piece of foam to lay under the backdrop to keep her comfortable and also to have a pillow handy for extra support. Hurricanes and Lightning

The summer month of August is almost here and we are right in the middle of hurrican season, and we don't mean the football team! Hurricane season makes for some great photography. Last year, Hurricane Irene pushed up the East Coast. In Florida, the wind gusts were between 20 and 50 MPH while the waves were 5-12 ft high. Our first thought was "To the beach"! We arrived at the beach around 5 am and watched in awe at the swelling waves. A few surfers were out and we caught some great images, as you may remember from our Hurrican Irene Gallery on our website www.perronephotography.com. So far this year, we have had only one Tropical Storm, Debbie. Unfortunately, we did not have a chance to make it to the beach in pursuit of the perfect waves Debbie created. Living near the East Coast, there will be many chances to make up for missing Debbie. Tropical Storms frequent our summers in Florida. The image below is of Hurricane Irene from last year, taken at the Cocoa Beach Pier.
