The Fourth of July represents all
of the freedoms our country is based on. Throughout the years, Americans have continued
celebrate our victory in various ways; with the most popular being a BBQ with
family and friends, fireworks, and great food. When you celebrate
the Fourth of July, you are not just throwing a party; you are acknowledging
your freedom and the sacrifices made by those who have kept you, and continue
to keep you safe.
The Fourth of July is a great day
for photographers to capture some amazing images. Fireworks are
made in a variety of eye catching colors and shapes. Below are some tips for taking great
images of fireworks so you can remember the sight for years to come.

Tips for photographing fireworks;
Equipment:
1: Camera
2: Shutter release cable or self-timer on camera
3: Tripod or a sturdy flat surface to set your camera on
Place your camera on the tripod. Attach a shutter release cable or set the camera’s
self-timer for 2-5 seconds to help eliminate camera shake.
Set your ISO to 100 or up to 200.
Adjust your cameras shutter speed anywhere from 1 second to 5 seconds, with
your aperture between F8 to F22, or lens’ smallest aperture setting.
Remember: The smaller your aperture is set, the more depth of field your
image will have. Also, keep in mind that the smaller the aperture setting, the
longer your shutter speed will be.
