Cosplay Halloween Shoot

A few weeks ago, we went on location to Lake Eola, FL where we met a fun and interesting group of Cosplayers. We were invited by a group organizer in Orlando to photograph this amazing event. I can honestly say, that was the most creative fun we have ever had on a shoot. We were introduced to several familiar characters, from Dragonball Z to the amazing all American Avengers squad, and even met some new characters we had not heard of. There were a broad range of characters and they were all quite good with their respective rolls.

After utilizing the beautiful outdoor scenery of Lake Eola, we moved on to the ever popular and rustic, Church Street Station, where we were lucky enough to photograph in an area unavailable to the general public. All of our work from the day is posted on our website www.perronephotography.com , under the galleries tab. We also decided that this shoot was so much fun, we created a Deviant Art profile to bring in more interest for Cosplay enthusiasts. If you are visiting www.deviantart.com, type Perronephotography in the search field to view our work or click here to go directly to our Deviant Art page

In case you are wondering what Cosplay actually is, it is a style of performance art in which participants make a costume that represents a specific character. Cosplay is short for “costume play” and was made popular in the early 90’s by Japanese performance artists.
